Biomass for Agriculture
The focus of the Ag Biomass Council is to provide support for the California farming community’s continuous improvement in managing a sustainable operation. This includes butis not limited to converting agricultural waste into high-value soil amendment, producing renewable, carbon neutral energy, reducing the volume of material in landfills, improving air and water quality and reducing dependance of foreign and fossil sources of energy.
Sustainable Agriculture = the process of maintaining an agricultural permanence through holistic soil management practices and integrated field crop production
