Biomass for Energy Production
Our grassroots approach promotes California Agriculture as a direct co-beneficiary of biomass projects, as opposed to bulk biomass energy producers, as the sole beneficiary. Small-scale, site specific biomass energy production has many advantages including:
- Engaging Agricultural producers in all aspects of project development and ownership of biomass conversion benefits
- Assessing and clearly defining feedstock supply
- Promoting facility self-sufficiency
- Maintaining control of soil health by opting to return biomass to the soil
